Every day, we put extra care and attention into helping our ladies find the perfect pair for life's special moments – whether it’s a wedding, a dinner date, a new job, or just a well-deserved treat.
Big On Shoes was founded 17 years ago by Melissa Westcott, who started the business in a tiny room of her home. With a passion for making stylish shoes available to women who had long been overlooked by traditional sizing, Melissa grew Big On Shoes into what it is today: a fabulous retail store in Central Queensland, an incredible team of shoe lovers, and a thriving online store spreading shoe joy across Australia – and beyond!
In April 2025, a new chapter began. Melissa proudly handed over the reins to Jodie, who is now leading Big On Shoes into its next stage of growth. With the same heart, care, and commitment to making women feel fabulous from the feet up, Jodie and the team are excited to continue the Big On Shoes journey — bringing you even more beautiful shoes, more sizes, and more reasons to smile.

SIZING + FITTING
We know it can be hard working out what size will fit. So we have developed a couple of easy ways to work out what size to order when you find your dream shoes.
- Use our size chart to help convert between US, AU and EU sizing. You will also notice the inner-sole measurements for every shoe and size here.
- Measure your feet or a pair of perfect fitting shoes and compare to our size chart. You can learn how to do this on our easy to follow Fitting Guide.

Sizing Tip: Did you know that alot of our brands offer different types of sizing, including US, AU and EU. This means that although you may be a AU10, you will need to choose EU41 for the same sizing. If you are not sure on what size you might be, refer to the size chart on each product, or alternately give us a call.
