We know the struggle: walking into a store, spotting the perfect heels… only to hear, “Sorry, we don’t carry that in your size.” Ugh. Been there, done that, kicked those too-small shoes to the curb. That’s why we’re here—to prove that fabulous shoes DO come in bigger sizes. Whether you’re hunting for sky-high stilettos, everyday flats, or sneakers that actually keep up with your busy life, we’ve got your back (and your feet). Our mission? To make you feel like the queen you are, strutting through life with shoes that fit perfectly and turn heads. Because why settle for less when your shoe game can be as bold, fun, and unapologetic as you are?
We are based In Mackay, North Queensland and have built our family-owned small business into Australia's #1 online store for women's stylish and quality shoes up to a Size 16 (EU47).

From Big On Shoes Founder - Melissa Westcott
Back in 2008, I started Big On Shoes in a tiny room of our house with a simple dream — to help women who struggled to find stylish shoes in their size feel seen, celebrated, and supported. What began as a passion project has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined, and it’s all thanks to you — our incredible customers, community, and team.
And now the time has come for a new chapter. In April 2025, I’m thrilled to announce that Jodie will be stepping in as the new owner of Big On Shoes.
From the moment I met Jodie, I knew she shared the same heart, passion, and commitment that has always been at the centre of Big On Shoes. She understands the magic of what makes our community so special — and she brings with her fresh energy and big dreams for the future. I couldn’t be more excited (or more confident) to hand over the reins to someone who will continue to love and grow this beautiful business.
To all of our amazing customers — thank you for trusting me, supporting us, and walking this journey with Big On Shoes. I’m so proud of everything we’ve built together, and I can’t wait to watch Jodie and the team take Big On Shoes to even greater heights.
